Management TeamOur strong management team is the foundation of our business. These individuals work hard to provide expert guidance and direction to our financial representatives in order to support their success.  Eric D Aslakson, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTCManaging Partner Eric D. Aslakson, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTC is Managing Partner with Northwestern Mutual – Puget Sound in Seattle, WA. Before being appointed to his current position in November 2010, Eric attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and joined Northwestern Mutual in 1998 as a college agent. He earned the Power of 10 recognition award in 2000, after becoming a full-time Financial Representative in 1999. Eric earned the Bronze Award in 2000, Silver in 2001 and Gold–Top 10 in 2002. He was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table in 2003-2004,and 2007-2008 and has received the National Quality Award in 2002, 2004-2007 and 2009-2010.
In June 2000, Eric became a College Unit Director and was a two-time Top 10 CUD in 2000-2001 and 2001-2002. Eric moved to a Field Director contract in May 2004 and became the Managing Director for the district office in Lincoln, NE in May 2005 where his office’s internship earned many honors.
Eric and his wife, Jessica, live in Bellevue, WA, and have two sons: Owen, born February 2006 and Easton, born April 2011.
 C W MiddletonManaging Director C.W. joined Northwestern Mutual in May 2002 and is the Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual - South Puget Sound. C.W. is passionate about helping his clients and new representatives achieve financial security for themselves. During his free time, C.W. enjoys spending time with his family.  Luke H MadsenRecruiting Field Director Luke Madsen started with Northwestern Mutual as an intern in 2002. As a Recruiting Field Director, Luke works closely with new financial representatives and interns to help them be successful while also growing his own clientele. Luke Madsen loves the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family.  Tom HowellRecruiting Field Director Tom started with Northwestern Mutual after he graduated from the University of Washington in 2002 with a degree in Business. As a lifelong Seattle resident, he wanted to make a positive impact in the community. He is excited about creating better futures for his clients, as well the new representatives he works with.  Courtney Meyer, CLU®Recruiting Field Director Courtney Meyer has been with Northwestern Mutual since 2005 and serves as a Recruiting Field Director and Director of Training.  Wesley Burns, CFP®, CLU®Recruiting Field Director  Paul D Twedt, CLU®, ChFC®Field Director Paul Twedt, CLU®, ChFC® is Managing Director of The Northwest Washington Group. He joined Northwestern Mutual in 1992 and immediately distinguished himself as a successful Financial Representative, earning the New Agent's Bronze (1993), Silver (1994) and Gold (1995) awards.  Eric Shutt, CLU®Field Director Eric joined Northwestern Mutual in 1999 as a college intern from the University of Washington. Upon graduation, he stayed with the company to pursue a career that would have economic upside in exchange for hard work, flexibility of schedule, and work that would be meaningful. As a Recruiting Field Director, Eric works with his clients to help them achieve financial security, as well as help recruit, train, develop and mentor new Financial Representatives. Outside the office, Eric enjoys being active outdoors and lives with his family in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.  Alison ColeDirector of Operations Alison joined Northwestern Mutual - Puget Sound in July 2006 shortly after graduating from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA with degrees in Financial Economics and Accounting. She began her career as the Network Office Accountant, but has grown into the Director of Operations role. As the Director of Operations, Alison is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the office as well as the accounting responsibilities.  Alexandria PugelDirector of Recruitment and Selection Serving as the Director of Selection, Alex Pugel has been with Northwestern Mutual - Puget Sound since 2007. As someone who was herself referred to Northwestern Mutual, Alex is committed to introducing others to our career opportunity and helping them determine if our career and our culture is the right fit for them.  Caroline ScobeeExecutive Assistant Caroline Scobee is the Executive Assistant to Eric D. Aslakson, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTC and has been with Northwestern Mutual - Puget Sound for over five years. She oversees the office Contract & Licensing procedures, investment registrations for all financial representatives as well as coordinating office events. Carrie is a long time resident of Washington state and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Spence RobinsonTechnology Coach
Spence Robinson is the Director of Technology for Northwestern Mutual - Puget Sound and has been with the agency for almost six years. Spence has lived in Nebraska and Nevada before moving to Washington in 1996 and enjoys baseball, football and boating. |
